Teams Admin: Locating Microsoft Tenant ID

How to find the Microsoft Tenant ID via Microsoft Partner Center

If you have established your Microsoft Partner Center, the customer’s Microsoft Tenant ID can be easily accessed by signing into your Partner Center (partner.microsoft.com)
  1. Sign In at partner.microsoft.com
  2. Select “Dashboard”
  3. Select “Customers”
  4. Select the desired Company name
  5. Select “Account”
  6. Microsoft ID will be shown here (as highlighted below) under the “Customer account info”

How to find the Microsoft Tenant ID via Azure Active Directory (AD) Admin Center 

  1. Follow the link below and sign in as a global or user management admin of the customer’s Microsoft tenant. https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMen 
  2. The Tenant ID is shown in the Directory ID box. Use the blue copy button to copy the Tenant ID.


How to find the Microsoft Tenant ID via Microsoft 365 Admin Center 

  1. Sign into admin.microsoft.com as a global or user management admin of the customer’s Microsoft tenant.
  2.  Expand the Admin Centers tab and click on Azure Active Directory.

  3. Click on Azure Active Directory under the favorites section.
  4. Click on Properties under the Manage section of the Azure Active Directory navigation menu. The Tenant ID is show in the Directory box. Use the blue copy button to copy the Tenant ID.
