OneCloud Meet: How to Share your Desktop

OneCloud Meet: How to Share your Desktop

Sharing your desktop in OneCloud Meet is fast and easy. You can share your entire screen, single application, or a single browser tab. Additionally, multiple participants can share their screens at the same time.

Once connected to the meeting, press the screen share icon.

A new window will open with the following options to choose what you wish to share:

Share the entire screen; you can also select to share the system audio on this window. Select which screen you would like to share and hit the Share button.

Note: Keep in mind this option will show everything on your screen, including pop up notifications from apps like Outlook and Teams if you are sharing your primary screen.

When sharing the entire screen, it is advisable to hide the Self View window to avoid OneCloud Meet from sharing an infinite loop of screens. Click on the ellipsis button on the Self View window. This will populate the Hide Self View option, then select it. See picture below.

Share a specific window; this will give you the option to share specific applications or windows individually if you wish to not share your entire screen. After selecting the window you’d like to share, click the Share button.

Share a specific browser tab; within these options, you can select a specific browser Tab to share. If you are sharing a tab with sound/video, you can check the “share tab audio” option on the lower left-hand corner of this window. After selecting the browser tab you’d like to share, click the Share button.

After initiating your share, an option will appear on top of the action center. You can use the Stop sharing button to stop sharing your screen. If you need to access any option below it, you can hide it or move it.

Note: You can stop sharing your screen by selecting Start/ Stop Sharing your screen from the action center if you opt to hide the window above.
